Mike has over 15 years’ experience within the insurance industry and has been working with ingenie since its launch in 2011. He joined as Chief Strategy Officer in 2013 and became Chief Executive of the ingenie brokerage in 2016.
He has championed the development of ingenie’s work in driver behaviour change and introduced new strategies for engaging drivers in ongoing education. With a daughter who’s currently learning to drive, he’s particularly aware of parental concerns as their children get on the road for the first time.
Presentation: Less Talk, More Chat: Evolving Young Driver Intervention
Over the last six years, ingenie has become a leader in telematics for young drivers. Its innovations include the Driver Behaviour Unit, a data-led team that works with drivers to improve their performance, and the integration of social media in the behaviour education process.
This presentation will share some of ingenie’s findings from the last year and explain how the DBU is now evolving from theoretical to practical knowledge: real skills for the real world – from the real experts.
