Quentin Willson has been a patron of Young Driver Ltd since its inception and is a well-known voice on TV, radio and in print, regularly raising the issues facing new drivers.
He created and presented the Worst Driver TV format on C5, now a successful television franchise broadcast in 14 different countries.
He’s also patron of the Approved Driving Instructors National Joint Council, gives evidence to Government Transport Select Committee on novice drivers, lobbies ministers and the Department for Transport and has presented the Prince Michael International Road Safety Awards.
A staunch advocate of better driving standards, Quentin has campaigned for driving and hazard perception to be taught at school and is a supporter of under 17 driver tuition, having put two of his own children through the Young Driver Ltd training programme.
He also works with the UK insurance industry to help lower premiums for new drivers.
